Don't forget about your furry valentines this V-day! These are fun and festive treats they will surely give you extra kisses for.

I heart you fruit cake muffins

8 pound ground chicken or beef heart

¼ cup organic blueberries

¼ cup organic strawberries

½ cup chopped parsley

1 egg without shell

¾ cup almond flour

Grind heart in food processor or with grinder attachment on stand mixer. Mix all ingredients together. Oil muffin pan with extra virgin olive oil. Pour mixed ingredients into muffin pan. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes, depending on the size of your muffin pan. It should be firm to the touch when finished. Allow muffins to cool, then slice and serve! Refrigerate unused portions and use within 5 to 7 days. Unused portions can be frozen; thaw before feeding.

My heart beets for you cookies

1 cup almond flour

⅓ cup coconut flour

¼ cup boiled and ground beet*

½ cup infused beet water*

1 organic egg

Boil a washed, peeled, and quartered beet in a saucepan until soft.

Mash soft beet with a food processor or handheld masher. (*Do not dump beet-infused water – you will need this.)*can use canned beets and liquid (with no salt added) instead.

Measure 1/4 cup of ground beet.

Mix all ingredients together. Drop by rounded teaspoons on parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 15 minutes.

Also, depending on how you shape the cookies, you can get a different look. Using a cookie scooper gives you vibrant pink cookies, baking them in a silicone mold gives a layered look where the top is a brown color and the bottoms are pink.

I like you berry much cookies

*Use organic, no sugar added apple sauce

Mix all ingredients together. Drop by rounded teaspoons on parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 15 minutes.
Makes about 4 dozen.
