Carob Dipped Strawberries

Share this dog-friendly twist on a beloved human treat with your pup this Valentine's Day!

Carob Dipped Strawberries

½ cup unsweetened carob chips

1 tsp virgin coconut oil

1 quart organic strawberries

¼ cup plain yogurt (unsweetened)

1 tsp beet powder (optional)

1 tbsp water


Wash strawberries and use knife to carefully remove stems.

Pat strawberries dry.

In a small glass dish, melt carob chips and coconut oil together.

Dip the strawberries into the melted carob mixture with a fork and place on baking sheet. 

Place baking sheet in the refrigerator until coating is hardened. 

Combine greek yogurt, water, and beet powder (if using) and place in small plastic baggie and cut off a small corner.

Remove the strawberries from the refrigerator and drizzle the yogurt over the strawberries.

Serve and let your pet enjoy!
