Keeping it in the Family: The Holistic Approach to a Healthy Mind

This is part 2 of 2 of the guest blog series by my son, Andrew Campbell (pictured above). Check out part 1 here!

As much as we know balance is important in maintaining long term health, modern-day life can be very demanding. We all have responsibilities and sometimes it is just not possible to put life on hold simply because there’s too much on the docket. Just ask my mother, Dr. Judy Morgan - between running a practice, herding her pack of adorable spaniels, consulting, and growing her brand to spread awareness of holistic practices - free time is a pipe dream and jacked up stress levels are the norm.

Burnout and chronically high cortisol (the stress hormone) are all but guaranteed when compounding stress becomes a daily occurrence. Being the owner of a broadcasting studio and juggling various other projects simultaneously, high stress is a regular part of my life as well. Activities such as multitasking, looking at screens for long periods of time, and never getting a chance to unplug are all major contributors to high cortisol.

Having experienced significant burnout from work and life in the past, my business partner and I stumbled upon compelling research showing the detrimental health consequences of long term, high cortisol and wanted to take action. Many solutions focused on meds to treat the symptoms - anxiety, trouble sleeping, depression, and difficulty managing body weight. If I’ve learned anything from Dr. Judy over the past 10 years, it’s to do your research and find the holistic solution. We did just that - the solution is adaptogenic herbs.

Much like deer antler velvet, adaptogens have been used with great benefit for thousands of years to protect our bodies from stress and to help preserve physical and mental health. We found that adaptogens like ashwagandha, astragalus root, holy basil, and rhodiola rosea are very effective in stabilizing cortisol levels, repairing damage from chronic stress, and reducing the negative effects of high stress - namely fatigue, brain fog & clouded thinking, and anxiety. These herbs are also safe to take long term.

Following months of research, experimentation and positive impact on our own physical and mental well-being, we were ready to share our product with the world - MultiFocus.

The feedback thus far has been fantastic. Multitasking and stress have been a reality for so many of us in our daily lives and nearly everyone who has tried MultiFocus so far has reported a boost in energy and improvement in overall mental clarity and focus. MultiFocus contains no stimulants, but provides increased energy by reducing fatigue and allowing your brain to operate more efficiently. MultiFocus also helps to reduce chronic stress and the negative effects of stress on your body.

If you or someone you know suffers from chronically high stress, or has a stressful occupation, we’d love for you to give our product a try. MultiFocus is available directly on the Dr. Judy Morgan website here.
